About Us
Jill is a Bobath trained, specialist neurological physio with advanced level movement analysis and facilitation skills. She has worked in the NHS for 25 years as a human physiotherapist. During her time at the NHS she achieved some key successes including:
- Leading the development of physiotherapy services for people with MS in Leeds
- Developing the first UK therapy and nurse-led MS clinic
- Assessing patients on behalf of consultants and developing advanced assessment skills
- Teaching and mentoring physiotherapy students, qualified physiotherapists and doctors
Her love of animals led Jill to train as a Chartered Physiotherapist, completing her post-graduate Diploma at the Veterinary Science department of Liverpool University. She works closely with specialists in canine and equine behaviour to manage behavioural problems which frequently occur as a result of illness or injury and the restricted exercise necessary for healing to take place.
“Whether there is an injury present, or your animal requires post-operative rehab, I aim to restore it to its full potential and vitality.”
Jill is based in Harrogate and travels throughout Yorkshire to assess and treat animals.
